Pat at Gamala 1024x686

At Gamla National Park about 5 miles NE of the Sea of Galilee; named after the shape of a camel, Gamla (seen in the background) was a zealot community conquered by the Romans in the Jewish War 66 CE. Seen also are the ruins of the oldest synagogue in Israel where it is likely that Yeshua/Jesus taught here as referenced in Matthew 4:23-25.
